A straight drive over the marker post and you’ll land on the fairway. Stray left and woods await; stray right and the hole lengthens considerably and chances are you’ll be playing your next shot from behind a tree.
Approaching the hole, the ridge creates the impression that the green is nearer than it is. Take an extra club!
