Ron Tickle
PGA Professional
Ron joined Alloa in summer 2024 with his assistant Ben Murray, previously he was the Head Professional in the neighboring club Braehead. Ron has been a full member of the PGA for many years and brings a wealth of experience to the position.
Ron is a level 3 coach and a qualified “Stack and Tilt” instructor and has extensive knowledge of Trackman and Flightscope and enjoys advising golfers on the best equipment for their game.
Ron spent several years coaching in Austria, Switzerland and Germany as Head Professional and is immensely proud of his long time membership of the PGA.
Ben Murray
PGA Professional Assistant
Ben is enrolled on the PGA education program and is heading up he “Alloa Junior Academy”, he made a great start in the recent school holidays with 15 juniors attending everyday.
Ben has a real passion for coaching and looks forward to helping as many golfers as possible in 2025.
He has a busy year ahead of him as he will be representing Alloa Golf Club on the Tartan Tour in local pro-am and young professional tournaments.
