Up coming champions

Junior Members

Everyone connected with Alloa Golf Club understands the importance of our Junior Members.  A thriving Junior Section is vitally important to the club since the Juniors of today will one day be our adult members. Some may even have the talent and dedication to make a career from golf.  It is therefore our aim to make sure that our Juniors are afforded every available opportunity in terms of coaching and mentoring while not forgetting to make sure that they simply enjoy this wonderful sport. A key initiative that the club is implementing is the Club Golf scheme – the national junior golf programme supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland, and backed by 18-times Major champion Jack Nicklaus. This will involve a much more structured coaching regime and we will be hoping to see some future stars rising from our Juniors.

Alloa Golf Club has some of the best practice facilities in the area. Take a drive into our car park and you can’t fail to notice our excellent putting green & practice net. From the middle road the “Short Game” practice area and the upper “Long Range” practice area can be accessed. To the left initiatives coupled with our facilities, drive and determination to further Junior golf is what we hope will make Alloa Golf Club the best choice in the area for Junior Golfers of every level.  Last, but by no means least is our Course itself. Ask anyone who has played at Alloa Golf Club and they will testify to the stunning beauty and the overall quality of the golf. Alloa Golf Club receives many plaudits each year from the many visitors that we welcome to our course. If you have any enquires regarding Junior membership, facilities or any other topic, then please do not hesitate to contact us.  If you are browsing this section as a potential member, are the parent of a child interested in joining the club or perhaps just curious, then we would be pleased to give you a personal tour of the course, facilities and have a chat about what we can offer with absolutely no obligation.
